What counts as a session?
A session starts when someone opens your app and ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Route changes inside that window belong to the same session — we don't split visits to inflate your usage.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
Recording pauses gracefully and workspace owners get a heads-up before it happens. You can upgrade, buy a one-off session pack or enable sampling. Nothing is charged without you deciding to.
Can I choose which sessions get recorded?
Yes. Sample by percentage, environment, route or user segment. A common setup records 20% of routine traffic while always keeping every session that contains an error.
Do you have startup or open-source pricing?
We do. Early-stage startups and open-source maintainers can get extended Team access — mention it in the contact form and we'll sort it out.
Is self-hosting an option?
Not at the moment. Business customers can pick an EU or US data region and set custom retention, which covers most compliance requirements we run into.
